Now the most planted grape in the world, Cabernet Sauvignon is planted in nearly every winemaking country. With all that choice, how do you determine what you like? Is it a result of the grape or what the region and winemaker does with it? In this class, we will taste 4 styles of Cabernet from around the world and talk about how to determine what you like in the grape versus what you like in the region or in the producer. The wines will be from:

  • Bordeaux (Cabernet dominant blend)
  • Chile
  • Napa, California
  • Barossa Valley, Coonawarra, or Margaret River, Australia
