More about this class
Oh, Pinot! The heartbreak grape, this one is a pain for growers and producers…and for us when we get a thin, acidic version. In this class we’ll discuss the ins and outs of Pinot Noir – and the reality of what it can be and what it often is. Using five wines from around the world, we’ll discuss the attributes of this very terroir-influenced grape, and how the style varies dramatically based on where it’s grown and by whom. This will be an eye-opening class for those who have never tried Pinot side by side by side from different regions!
We will taste wines from:
- Burgundy, France
- Willamette Valley of Oregon (US)
- Marlborough, New Zealand
- Santa Barbara, California (US)
- Germany (optional)
*Important Notice: Once you register you will receive a PURCHASE CONFIRMATION email with a LINK to the class instructions (it has a Wine For Normal People red header). PLEASE check your Spam/Junk box if you do not see it. If you still can’t find it, please Contact Us (please don’t wait until right before the class!)
