Ready to learn more about wine with me?
The classes are like a live podcast. That means I teach you about the subject, we taste wine, there is an awesome community to learn and laugh with, and you can ask me all the questions you have, when you have them!
Check out a live class!

The classes are fun (not certifications!) and I teach them all.
I’ll answer all your questions right when you have them! You’ll learn by listening (lecture), tasting the wines with me and other class takers, community discussion, and direct interaction with me.

The classes are live on Zoom (you have to be on the call at the appointed time!)*.
All classes are about 2 hours long and taught in real time so you can ask questions and participate as much as you want either through the chat or by actually asking a question and chatting with me.
*Unfortunately we can’t give you a recording if you miss the class, so please only sign up if you can make the live version.

The classes are affordable!
Classes are just $30 per person (all individuals in one place taking the class must pay for a seat**). Discounts apply if you are a Patreon member.
**Much like a yoga or an art class, you register for each person who will derive a benefit from the class. I have no mechanism for policing you – I’m a solopreneur. I trust you to do the right thing and register for the number who will attend.

The classes are convenient
You buy wines locally. Choose what’s in your budget, get to know the wines after the class is over. You can buy as many or as few wines as you like for the class (4-5 wines are recommended). You get a link to a page detailing the wine types we’ll taste, then you select wines within your budget (mine are always under or around $20/bottle, except where specified). With the right storage, the recommended wines will last for about a week, so you get to taste and analyze them over time, and really review what you’ve learned. Class takers find this much more useful than just getting a taste, as you would in a standard wine class. It’s not a requirement to taste what we taste in the class together, but it does augment the class experience.
You’ll get detailed handouts with maps. No need to take any notes—these mini booklets outline the main points of the class. You can just listen and have fun!
