Focus Class: Off the Beaten Path French – 6/8/24

The major regions of France are famed and make absolutely spectacular wines. But there are also unsung heroes in France – places where the wines are so unique and the production is so small that we rarely talk about them or see them on shelves. In this class, we will give attention to those regions that are off the beaten path. Places in the mountains like Savoie and Jura, that have been deprived of their reputation and distribution due to location like Southwest France, that are on a Mediterranean island like Corsica, and that are too often overlooked, like Bandol in Provence.

We will taste and review wines from:

• Savoie
• Bandol, Provence
• Jura
• Corsica
• Southwest France

If you love French wines and want to get to know the lesser-known parts, this class is for you!
